so today i found these in my cricket box ive read articles that said it could be a cleaner worm but as see the larve isnt fuzzy. It also looks like a meal worm so im wondering if its that. These insects are litterally super tiny so i was wondering is the beetle possible the adult form of the mealworm. Its like at most .5 mm

Those are cleaner worms. They are very small. So idk if they are fuzzy or not. Never looked. Those beatles can fly. Freaked me out at first. :D Doesn't happen very often.

Based on the size my guess is a buffalo beetle, also known as lesser meal worms. I believe they are used as cleaner bugs.

The fuzzy ones are detmestid beetles, which are not related but also used as cleaner crew.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
