I've had alot of issues with buying bulbs that apparently cause blindness in beardies and with malfunctioning equipment (mostly zilla). So what are the necessities of every beardie enclosure, like brand/size and everything. I've been having troubles with my beardie not eating so I've altered alot in his enclosure but I still don't seem to have it right, so what brand/wattage/size heater/uv bulb everything do I need?

hello and welcome. I could go through the list with you, but I suggest to just browse the "enclosures" posts. THe basics: at least 50 gal tank for adults, no sand...use reptile carpet or paper towels on bottom. Needs a basking spot at 105-110 (can use a 100w household bulb)and a cool area around 80 degrees. He will also need a UVB bulb. Most of us use the ReptiSun 10.0 UVB...this tube bulb should stretch the entire length of the tank (or close to it) and your BD should be able to get about 6 inches close to it (you can use a branch or rocks to build up to it). ANy other questions, let us know!!b ENjoy perusing the site and WELCOME!!!!   :blob5: :blob8:

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
