i want a second beardie

I saw some babies at the store and i wanted to get one. I've fallen in love with a dark black beardie at work. But i'm not sure how Yoshi will react to another baby around. this guy is so little he's about as big as my middle finger. i'm also scared Yoshi will think he's food and eat him
how do i go about introducing them?

Hi. If you want a second beardie, you need a complete second setup. please do not put them together. One can and more than likely will injure or kill the other. I have 2 beardies that are both missing arms from being housed with other beardies when they were small. There is a beardie on here with no legs at all due to attacks from other beardies. There are also some that have died from attacks by other beardies. Please buy 2 setups if you want 2 beardies. Please dont keep them together

I would keep them completely seperate and not introduce them at all.

it's a good thing i have room for that - i think i will wait a while before getting another one though. this is what i thought but i was not sure as i have seen pics with beardies together. but i'll wait on the second little guy. Yoshi would be jeolous :lol:

There are times when they tolerate each other, but it is always a risk introducing them. They may become stressed, aggressive, or both. I have the baby bug too, but know I have to wait. I still live with my parents and have promised that my last two animals will be the last animal I get before I move out lol.

yes the baby itch is pretty much there for me. i think i will wait though. i really want to get a girl as my next one. but that will not be for a while.
