I saw this post on Craigslist today and think this guy really needs a experienced beardie owner willing to put time into him I would love to take him in but I really don't have any more room for another beardie or the funds, but I would love to reptile train or meet up with anyone willing to take him and pick him up for you. I'm not sure how bad this one is, but from the sound of it he really needs some help

Wow. Crickets twice a month and thats it?! I sincerely wish I was closer, I would totally try to help this little guy out!

Omg that's horrible. Poor thing has MBD and only gets 2 hrs of UVB a day so it's definetly not getting better.


I just sent him an email and said the person who gave him to you should have asked you the questions your asking about previous reptile experience and that he has no idea how to care for a dragon and that he's making the situation worse.

I told him to do the dragon a favor and find it a good home ASAP so it can at least have a chance, since clearly it doesn't with him!

That makes me so mad. I wish I was closer but is probably end up in a fight with him! Lol!

He said he only needs 2 hours of UVB because his tank is next to a window. WOW. Lol.
And he's kept on calci sand because that's the healthiest substrate so he gets calcium.
And he gets lettuce everyday, so that's why he only gets crickets twice a month, but he gets mealworms weekly.


Apparently this is what his vet told him to do.


Someone needs to help this dragon, and his owner!
