I am glad to hear she is doing better for you. Just don't forget the old tried and true worn T-shirt idea. Put the T shirt you have worn around the house that day in the viv so they are forced to be with your scent.
So what do you think it was for you that helped Cupid become more calm?

She luvs having my shirt and also stole a few of my daughters blankies LOL
The main issues i think were she was unhappy with her substrate, and was dehydrated. That in itself would make a beardie cranky from the getgo! But i think the breakthrough came with bath times. I put her in the bath and she would let me pet her. but as soon as i would pick her up she would freak out. the more i set her in the bath (yes i admit i even got into the bathtub with her once with no water it was her safe place :mrgreen: ) and interacted with her, the calmer she got. Then wrapping her in a blankie and cuddling her until she fell asleep. She finally realized that i loved her and decided to stop trying to eat me! haha

That is wonderful!! My BD was like yours when she was young. She bit me a few times and came after me. I remember sitting in a empty tub too.LOl
I used the tshirt thing and wrapping her in a blankie. Now, I am not sure if she would sleep good without her blankie. She cuddles with me now. But there are times as you may find out she gets a bit jumpy if I move to fast.
But you know, I think because we went thru this we have a closer bond because of this. You may find she will perfer you over the other membners of your house hold. I am so happy for you. It is a wonderful feeling to get past the distrust issue, huh?

It is absolutely special! we had to earn their affection dangit and get them to trust us! LOL anyone who says reptiles dont have personalities and feelings is crazy IMO!
