I never thought I would be like this!

Venom is 3 months old and our first Beardie. He didn't poop yesterday and I was so worried. I kept waking up all night to check on him. Fortunately this after he pooped. This is so unlike him I was worried sick. Six months ago I never thought I would be like this about a REPTILE but I love him just as much as my son does. Venom has so much personality. When my son does his homework the desk is right by Venom's tank. Venom starts pacing back and forth until someone picks him up.

They grab your heart & you're never the same. You become a great beardie slave. I know exactly how you feel. They're also difficult to say no to. I now have 5 adult males, all in their own tanks, in a 1 bedroom apartment and also a golden gecko. When I lost Sweetie (my female who was 5 1/2 yrs old) last December to pneumonia, I decided that 4 males were just fine. Then I found Gabriel, who needed a good home & now I have 5 males. They are addictive, so be careful! But they're also the best pets as they do love their humans. So have fun with you & your son's beardie, you have alot more to find out about him
