Well, my aunt came on January 14th with her two boys, so we moved Zinger out of me-proclaimed lizard room and into my room. This happened on the second night with Zinger. I have to read 120 minutes a week for my reading teacher, so I was in bed reading when suddenly, I look over and Zinger wants me to hold him.
So
I get Zinger out of his cage and lay him in bed next to me where he snuggles down in the covers and rests his head against my leg. BIG MISTAKE.
So I had read an hour and decided to read the rest tommorow as I had finished that book in a short amount of time and hadn't checked out another. I looked down at my leg and Zinger was OUT. I tried to wake him up a little and he did the whole "crack open your eye, then butt wiggle into a better position." I didn't want to wake up the perfect little angel, so I carefully transferred his head to my sheets and got out of bed.
After about 20 minutes and showing everyone in the house, I was going to play it safe and put him back into his enclosure. I put him in even though he clearly disagreed. Later on, I was going to go to sleep. So I layed down, obviously, in my bed. I was drifting into the early phases of sleep when EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! A VERY High pitched noise rips me from my premature slumber. I flip on the light and Zinger in scratching the glass with the very tip of his nails to make a horrible schreeching noise. I told my mom and dad he was making a racket to sleep in my bed. They said to ignore my poor baby. Not a chance.
So I go back in my room and comfort him. I flick the light back off. Once again, almost asleep when BA-Ba-BAM Sounds like something is banging/vibrating. I look at Zinger and he is balancing on his rock shaking back and forth on the other ones. His basking rock is balanced on two others. It doesn't fall, but it shakes, and he was using his body to make it shake back and forth and make a BANGING noise. So once again, I stuff him under his rock with his blanket and tell him to go to bed.
Almost asleep...SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.....Something scraping. I look over and he is moving his hide across the sand. "ZING!" I don't bother and try to go back to sleep.
Then, BANG BANG BANG! He is ramming his head into the cage. I get up, hold him, and explain to him he cant sleep in my bed.
For the grand finale, I had been asleep for twenty minutes when he got on his log. The scraping of scales on wood woke me up and I turned on the light just in time to see him LAUNCH! himself against the glass. "AH! Zing baby, are you ok!!?" I went and picked him up and he cuddled me. Then I gave him a kiss and set him in his cage. He then went by his log and laid down. I covered him with his "Blanky" and he went to sleep. Finally.
Anyway, just thought you guys would find this amuzing. To Dragons: Don't get any ideas.
