I NEED HELP!

I got a fancy beardie on August 6th. The first week, my beardie had a really awesome behavior. His lighting setup and temps and all are perfect. I can promise that it isnt any of these. He eats alot so he is not malnourished or anything. The past month my bearded dragon's behavior has taken a turn for the worst. He runs when i put my hand in his tank, he hisses at me. I have tried to hold him and he has either run or tried to attack me. Just last night i picked him up and he bit my thumb. My last beardie never did this. I dont know what to do to get him adjust to me. I really need help. thanks

How old is he? Still a little guy? He may not be used to you yet. Have you taken him out and given him some freedom to explore a bit (in a supervised environment)? Maybe he has some energy to burn off and is misbehaving because of it. You could also try holding him later in the evening when he's more tired and see if he puts up as much fight then. If he doesn't and gets used to you holding him it may help.
