I just got a bearded dragon from some people. She looks deadly sick. She is so skinny you can see her bones. The people said she eats good and everything but she doesn't look like she has been. I am going to take her to the vet but I wanted to see if there was any kind of help anyone could give me until than...please help!

does she have a uvb? how much is she eating? does she poop regularly?
When you go to the vet, be sure to bring a fresh poo for a fecal exam.. those are usually what they fnd the problems in. Could be parasites.

Hello,

One main thing to do now, is to work on hydration status. Do not begin to feed heavy protein items such as feeders until she gets more hydrated or it could lead to renal failure if she is badly dehydrated which she probably is.
Use fresh greens, squash babyfood, water, pedialyte, & calcium to get her some nutrition. You can blend that up to make a nice slurry for her & use a plastic dropper & or syringe to get food into her.
You could ask the vet for some powdered Critical care to help her out with weight gain. She would probably really like that as well.
Also, we need to run over your tank setup with you too, just to make sure everything is all setup well for her.
Do not put her basking temperatures over 100 right now, as her body is most likely not used to higher temperatures so too high of temperatures may stress her out & she might not bask. So go for 95-100 max right now.
