I need help with Bella

So Bella laid 26 eggs a day before Easter. I had no idea she was even carrying eggs. So since then I've been making sure that she is well hydrated and making sure she gets some extra calcium and protein. She has had a couple small BM's, but yesterday she had the largest BM I have ever seen!!! Two problems I noticed were 1) The majority of it was formed, but it looked like she had some diarreha as well. 2) Her urate had a pinkish color to it (I've heard this is a sign of eggs). So I have no idea what to do. She is eating well, but I REALLY dont want her to lay again! Scares me to death! I have no idea how to tell if she has eggs, I honestly can't feel them! Is there a simple way (or a certain way) that you can feel them? She hasn't started scratching yet like last time. . .I'm just lost as to what to do with her.

Has she been housed with a male? If she had been breeding she could lay as many as 4 or more clutches of eggs. Even if she was not exposed to a male she can lay multiple clutches but it would not normally be that many at once if unfertilized. My dragons lay multiple egg clutches usually 4 to 5 weeks apart on a single breeding encounter.

Not sure what the poo situation is all about. The best thing is to boost calcium intake as egg laying and production drains alot out of them. Liquid calcium might be best in this situation. Also, you can get some pheonix worms as they are packed with plenty of natural calcium. Keep track of her weight and make sure she is gaining her weight back. My females lose alot of weight from egg laying and then within a couple days they gain it all back, and even add some on top of it. Squash is a good weight gainer I have noticed. Also plenty of dusted crickets and pheonix worms help too.

Usually you can feel the eggs in the belly. They feel like a bunch of marbles and will be all over the underside from the ribs all the way to the vent.

Just curious, Is she a heavy dragon? Maybe that is why you cannot see or feel eggs. Just a guess.

My biggest female is about 460 grams but I can still see and feel her eggs. But, she is also fully loaded with them at the moment.

Thanks for your reply. She has never been housed with a male. She is a rescue that I took in last October from my friend because she didn't know how to properly care for her. Since she wasn't receiving the best care, she is smaller than my other female, but has always had the buddah belly. It just amazed me that 26 eggs could come out of her without me having any idea that she had them! I feel like a complete id*ot. For days after she finished laying I stuffed her with her favorite food (big juicy hornworms!!) dosed with calcium. She has her belly back, but now I'm worried about her being gravid again. I am SO glad my other female hasnt done this, I am going to have a mental breakdown lol.

Hey amylee,
Goodness me that must have been a shocker for you. Dex did this to me, but I did suspect something was wrong. I cant imagine it out of the blue!
I think its more stressful for us not them!

Dex passed a pink discharge before and after she laid. Hopefully it was the AFTER rather than the beggining of another clutch.
