Hello, just wondered if any one has an advice for me. i got a male bearded dragon three weeks ago who is suppose to be 8 months from someone who did not want him any more. they told me they got him from a pet shop about a month ago (which was two months ago now) when i went to the pet shop there is no record of the dragon i have being sold there as the shop has been only opened a month ago today which has made me think why would they lie about where they got him from. i am unsure and a little confused about how much insects i should feed him and how often?
Also if someone could help i have noticed his face has got a white patch and feels dry i have also noticed his front two legs from body to knee has gone white and has happened to his front two legs and one of his back legs it seems to continue all round his tummy.
his basking a lot,
his mouth is open and then closes
he is eating well over the last two days of rocket and baby leafs and his hoppers and Mario worms
his pooping every second day in bath but decided to do on me today in the bath room lol
only sleeping when lights are out.
basking is 100 other end is 85
seems normal to me unsure if he is shedding
any advice on my big story about my little man Rex would be really helpful. :?
sorry if it sounds confusing its the best way i could tell you all i am trying to add pics to show you what his looks like to see if u can give any ideas

Welcome to the forum!
You should feed your Rex live feeders twice daily, as much as he can eat in 10-15 minutes. Stay away from mealworms. Don't use superworms, either, until he is at least 16" long. Crickets and dubia roaches are good, as are reptiworms. Silkworms and hornwirms are great, too. Waxworms should be used only as a treat since they are very fatty. He should have a salad available to him all day. Collard and mustard greens are excellent, as are turnip greens and dandelion greens, if you can find them in the store.

The white patches sound like shed. You can bathe him daily while he is shedding.

I will include an excellent website that will give you more nutrition information, plus other helpful articles:

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
