I hurted my baby bearded dragon idk what to do!

I was took my new beard out for feedin i put him in the bin to get him motivated to Be more aggressive with the crickets and plus i didnt want the crickets lingering around in his tank after he didnt eat them all. Right when i went to grab the crickets my iphone 7plus fell right on him off my lap i was sitting down so it was like a Foot off the ground from where my beardie was when i saw the tail under my phone my heard broke Immediately snatched my phone offf him he seemed to spit some white stuff out maybe his food from earlier, He was lifeless for a minute i thought i lost him.Than started to breath heavy and slowly came back i let him sleep through the night and left him alone when i touch his side (last night he closed his eyes as if he was in pain) today he seem a lil better) he still slow but looking better did yesterday, what should i do? Also he head seem a little flatter than it did and looks little crippled in the back left leg

So it hit him on the head ? on the back ? or landed on his leg ?



This could be serious as their bones are not very strong when very young , I think you need to find a local reptile and have the vet examine the injury, perhaps take xrays and go from there.

I'd be leaving him in his tank to feed him from now on, he's more likely to feed properly and just drop 2 or 3 crickets in at a time and wait for him to eat them then give a few more and keep doing this until he looses interest (easier for both and he to keep track of only 2 or 3 crickets).

He os doing much better this morning he would move for a sec and chill there and i seen him eat a cricket on his basking bark and a iphone 7 plus is a pretty big phone i could of really killed him if it fell flat on him but it was held up so it didnt eve look like it hit his left side so idk if he is just doing that because this morning he seemed ok climbing on his bark

Yeah he just not supper active as he was thats why i name him speedy because he ran quite fast , hopefully any pain he has go back to his usually self in a few days

Awe, he's quite small too. You must have gotten him not long ago, he looks to be between - months old. Poor little guy does look like he's dazed or uncomfortable, but no black beard, so that's a good sign.

You need to keep a very close eye on him, if he starts sleeping all the time, stops eating, etc. then you need to get him to an experienced reptile vet immediately, as the worry here isn't so much broken bones, but rather internal injuries/internal bleeding. He's so small that it would be quite easy for a large cell phone to crush internal organs and cause internal bleeding. Hopefully not.

Look carefully at his next bowel movement for blood, it will appear as either bright red blood or very dark red blood, almost black, usually it looks very dark in color. If you see any blood in his stool or urate then this is a sign of internal bleeding.

Oh, he is so cute & very small!
Simply based on the picture, he appears to be just fine. As everyone else said, just keep
a close eye on him, for any major behavioral changes. Hopefully he dodged a bullet!
I know those phones are large & heavy.
