Hi, i have a bearded dragon named Lucky and she's 1 year 8 months. She's been fine since we had her from 12 weeks old but all of a sudden she's acting odd, usually i know whats wrong as obviously you get to know them and their actions but i just can't put my finger on it this time. We had been feeding her crickets, hoppers and morio worms untill lately i realised morio worms are not really any good. So now she's just constantly scratching at the back and sides of her viv, resting for a few mins to then go back and do it again. She pooped 2 days ago and she has hoppers everyday, her temps are good, her UV tube was changed 3 weeks ago, she has water that we give her through a spray bottle and she cant see any reflections of herself or anything like that. I just really need some help and im running out of things it could be, any ideas would be great :)

I have a 12% UVB, D3+ reptile lamp 30W and im using analogue dial displays. No she has never laid eggs before but yes her urates seem normal

Do you happen to know what brand the UV bulb is? Is it tube, coil, compact, MVB? Temps should be taken with a digital probe or inferred gun. The thermometer you're using could be 20 or so degrees off of actual temp.

Its an Arcadia UV tube, i had a repti-glo tube before untill it needed changing. Yeah i had heard digital was better, although i have used the analogue ones since we got her and she's been fine so i didn't think that would be a problem.. Although wow it could be that far off? Im surprised. I have just thought.. Do you think it could be because her UV is 30W and we also have a 60W heat bulb? Maybe it should be higher wattage? As both are abit low

Fluorescent tube wattage is determined by the fixture and size. As long as the temps are ok wattage if the heat bulb won't matter. Get a better thermometer to take the temps. I recommend you look up egg laying and prepare to offer a lay box incase she has eggs. They can lay even if there is no male involved. I can't help more on that topic as I've only had makes so far.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
