So heres the deal. I recently got a new baby corn snake. I've had it for about 2 months and it wont climb. It hates climbing or even moving in its cage. It always just stays curled up under its newspaper. When i try taking him out he just freaks out. I still take him out to try to get him use to me but it hasnt been working. Any suggestions? I dont know the age. I get him at about 8 inches from the pet store.

I could be wrong but cornsnakes are not aborial in nature. I dont think they are climbers.
Try google and look for a cornsnake forum. You will probably get more accurite answers.

Typically, these snakes remain on the ground, but can ascend trees, cliffs and other elevated surfaces. I think what it's saying is like all snakes they CAN climb but prefer the ground.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
