I Have A Hermaphrodite Roach!!

I swear this is what I have lol! I have never seen anything like it before.

I tried to get as good as pictures as I could, but I couldn't really get any pictures of the abdomen to prove what I see.

You can see here that this is a pretty fat male. Regardless of the wings going to the side, a male wouldn't have such a round plump body.

In the above, you can kind of see in between the wings, and see the very female abdomen.

I swear, this is a female body with wings! Or a male with a female body! :shock:

I didn't want to put her.... him..... uh, it, back into the colony, I left it in its own little tub for now, incase I can get better pictures later. I am just so shocked lol!

Opinions? Maybe it is just a male, or maybe its a female who grew wings!!!

And I am totally not just having a noob moment, I have had roaches for over 2 or 3 years, and I know what a male looks like, and I know what a female looks like. This is BOTH!!

It is kinda like a pet now, I have it in its own little tub with newspaper to hide in! :mrgreen: It looked like it was getting picked on for being "different" anyways, so it will do better out of the colony! :mrgreen:
