So I got my female bearded dragon at petsmart about late march 2011 and now its December 2011 and shes only like 12-14 inches?!
She has uvb lighting ( I am going to a new one if this is the case), heat lamp, water, she eats crickets every day, and I don't know why she is so small. Can someone please help me and tell me why she is so small for her age?
Here are some pictures

Someone please help me and tell me if its too late for her to grow and why she is so small? I had a bearded dragon about 3 years ago that I had for 2 years and he was 18" and I am treating this one the same! Someone please help me :(

what brand/type of UVB do you use and how much is she eating every day? Are you using supplements? She doesn't look underweight but she sure is lanky. Some dragons are just naturally thinner, especially when younger.

I'd also suggest breaking out a ruler, I bet she is longer then you think.

Its hard to know exactly if your beardie is short for their age as we do not know exactly how old it is. When was the beardie hatched if you know? If not how big was the beardie when you got her? What type of UVB do you use? Length from light to basking spot? How many crickets/veggies do you feed her?

Just to note not all beardies are the same length and size. A beardie may be smaller but that doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong with it. I read that one beardie may be 20 inches, my beardie is 25 inches. Doesn't mean the former was a runt. If your beardie was a baby when you got it, 12-14 inches may not necessarily be a bad size. She'd not even be a year old.

We just need a bit more info

She doesn't look terrible, my concern is that you said you had a beardie for two years that was 18"

Beardies can and should live much longer than two years with proper care. Did it die, or did you rehome it?

I meant I had a beardie and when it was 10 months it was 18", he got like 25"+ I think, he was a german giant in a 65 gallon tank, had to get rid of him because we had to move across the country.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
