I don't know whats wrong with my Bearded Dragon =S

Well, My bearded dragon is about 2 years old now, i've had him for some time and all of a sudden he has stopped eating food and just sleeps all day.
Is this Brumation or could this be something more serious ????

That depends. Where are you located? Had the weather changed recently to imitate winter?
If it's not a weather/temperature issue, then I would suggest a vet visit and a fecal to rule out parasites.

Hello! Just a few questions to help us figure out what is going on.
What brand and type of UVB do you use? How close can he get to the UVB? What are the temps in his enclosure? What type of substrate do you use? Has he ever had a fecal done at a Herp Vet?

I am currently using an Exo Terra Repti-Glo 5.0uvb and it's about 2ft at the top of the tank. I am also using play pit sand and Nope, Never had a Fecial examination. I don't think that there are any Herb vets on the island =S

Yup, a 5.0 is too weak... You need yo ditch the Exo Terra, and get a ReptiSun 10.0 instead. You can get a cheap one here: www.petmountain.com
Is he losing weight, or acting impacted? As long as he isnt, he is probably brumating. You should really get him tested for parasites though, since they shouldnt brumate if they have parasites.

What are you using to measure the ambient/basking temps? The basking temps should be no lower than 95 but no higher than 115 (some beardies don't like it too hot).

What do you feed your beardie? How often is he getting live feeders, and what are they?

You mentioned "island" -- where might that be? And what are the average temps there?

Any vet should be able to run a fecal test; it doesn't have to be a herp specialist. However, if you're planning on taking your beardie for an examination, you'll have to find one that specializes in reptiles.

Last, but not least, when was the last time he ate anything? Had he been pooping, or stopped that as well??

Ahh . . . Okay, Well I'm going to go and get a new Repti-Sun tomorrow then, And I really don't think he is losing weight and I am 100% certain hes not impacted.
I soaked him in the bath this morning and he pooped soo . . . =)

Okay Goonie =) Right, The coolside of the tank is currently 84.2f and basking is 102.7f, I am using Electronic Temp probes to get accurate temp readings =), I feed my beardie Extra-Large Crickets and large Locusts, Also some greens and fruits such as Lettuce, Apples and Red Peppers (Not the chilli ones)
But . . . He has stopped eating for about 5days now but still poops.

Everyone has everything covered. Definitely upgrade to the Reptisun 10 tube bulb.
I just wanted to add that one main reason why he could be lethargic other than not having adequate UVB is that he is not able to properly absorb his vitamins & calcium with no UVB exposure. How often do you use calcium supplementation for him?

Yeah, Thanks Tracie =) And I put Calypso Cricket dust on about 2 crickets 3 times a week and Nutrobal, once a week on 1 cricket

Great, no problem. The Calypso is fine, & so is the Nutrabol. He should begin to perk up pretty quickly with a better light. Are you in the US or the UK? If you are outside of the US, you could probably find the Arcadia D3 12% tube light easier than the Reptisun 10 tube bulb.
Since you mentioned the Calypso & the Nutrabol, I thought you might be outside of the US. Those are products that are usually not commonly used here in the US.

THe repti glo is just an all around bad bulb witch can cause eye problems eating problems and all sorts of things. The Arcadia 12% and the Repti sun 10.00 are the best tube to use. It gives off good UVB/A light and Just alot better than the Repti Glo.
