I don't know if its fungus or just his color please help

My new beardie has yellow around his mouth and eyes its not crusty or nothing it's just a bright yellow and doesn't match the rest of his color he's more of a tan color again I just for him hours ago but I'm just wondering if I should be worried because I have other dragons in the house he has ate a few crickets no veggies yet the guy I got him from says hes about 2-3 years old hes about 20 inches head to tail I have him in a custom built 4x2x2 enclosure I can't figure out how to post a pic of him from my phone let alone the computer but I can try sending it direct to someone who's had some experience in this issues please help

Hello, I unfortunately had a rescue with a severe case of yellow fungus and what you're describing doesn't sound like it but a pic would definitely help. To post pictures on here just upload them on a site like photobucket and copy the direct link and paste it between

are you sure im really worried about getting my other dragons sick of infected by bring one in my house that may have yellow fungus he ate fine for today first day i had him by I'm just worried about having a sick dragon and not knowing he is active we glass surfing surfing and is blacken out i believe from relocation stress so i will let him be but whats a good temp for a 1 1/2 old bearded dragon

That definitely does not look like fungus, yellow fungus has a very distinct crusty, gross appearance that eats away at the scales. The yellow on this dragon is simply his coloring

That is DEFINITELY his natural coloring. Lots of beardies have colors like that - on my Max they're orange. It isn't yellow fungus. Yellow fungus isn't that kind of fluorescent color. Here's a couple examples of yellow fungus:

I would like to add that your dragon looks mighty dehydrated and pretty skinny, so that is partially why his eyes are bulging out.

Thank you guys I feel better but you said he looks a little dehydrated how can you tell I will give him a bath tomorrow after he wakes up

I can tell because his eyes look a tad sunken in, his whole body is skinny (which I would guess is due to improper care before you got him - both dehydration and underfeeding), and his fat pads on his head are sunken in. Again, some of it is due to underfeeding, but it can't hurt to give him lots of baths and maybe some water orally via syringe.
