I can't wait until summer!

I always get so excited when warm weather rolls around so I can take my beardies back outside. I always bring my 2 adults wherever I go, and me and my fiance usually just bring our (once juvenile) now sub-adults out to the pool deck at his condo for some sun. Which reminds me, where do you guys bring your dragons? Not necessarily the weirdest places, but just the places where you usually take them?

usually petsmart, petco, took charizard to tacobell once. they didnt have a no pets sign soo.... but he didnt like it since he was put in a carrier so the tacobell people would stop freaking out

i'd like to take him to school, but i dont know if its allowed ><

There's a park down the street that I plan on taking my beardie to I take my rabbit there. People sure get a kick out of it :lol:

How do you get your beardie use to sitting on your shoulder etc.? I'm afraid he'll riun away and I will lose him. I can't wait to get him outside but it's too cold outside right now, In the 20's in California. That is so wrong.
I think if you talk to the principal of a grammar school she might be able to set up something with one of the classes. My grand daughter wants to bring Zeus in when he is older. I keep referring to him as a he but I really have no clue. He's still just a baby.

He goes to petstock and reptile city.He has also been to school,on his lead!,Sparks was very calm he didn't mind that atleast 30 people were looking at him.

Brutus isn't crazy about the truck but he likes the deck in the yard or sitten on my chest at the park. Im sure hes just as exited for the summer as you are.

I love to take my beardie to the gun store, my father-in-law owns it so he doesn't care. Usually me and my hubby will spend hours there. The customers love them (ok, well most of the customers). I also take them to Petco, Pet Supermarket, Walmart, family and friends houses, a parade that we were in, and many other places :mrgreen: And all the times are with them on harness and leash of course!!!

My dragon goes everywhere with me, walmart, different restaurants, and I take her to school due to my anxiety problems, I find it very hard to sit through classes and she helps me concentrate and relax. Leads are recommended though I don't use one for Thil, she is very lazy and hates being anywhere but on me, if I so much as lay her somewhere she crawls right back up and if she can't I get she gets really upset, so I don't worry to much and she's never been a jumper.

Spike only likes to sit in the window ... lol i don't take him out dat much... but he gets rlly 'pancaked' on da sun all da time D: .. i can't call Spike a Bearded dragon.. Im calling him a .... pancake dragon! o3o

My husband is big into disc golfing so I plan on taking Sarth to the various parks with us. Also to his grandparents lake house, he can be my sun bathing partner This will be my first summer with our beardie so I'm very excited!

you can take a beardie into walmart?
hmmmmm i can see it now, charizard at walmart..... he's gonna scare the crap out of everyone. not a racist but a lot of black people near me are scared of any reptile, at least from my experince in having my friends beardi at school who is much lazier than charizard. charizard likes to jump occationaly . its kinda funny, because there harmless.... except winston our adult. he goes after toes when he jumps away from you XD

Well, I know this will be our first summer with our beardies and I can't wait either!!!! I had our big guy in to my son's first grade class the other day! He was a hit! Then he came over with me to my school and my students got a kick out of him too!

I hear of everyone bringing their beardies to school. I never knew that was allowed! I'd be so afraid to bring mine in fear of being kicked out or something
