I had to share this. I got Kairo about a month ago. He was only interested in food that moved. Crickets. Then we tried Phoenix worms and he loves them. So now he gets both. But I was a little worried becayse he was NOT into fruit and veggies, but I kept giving them everyday because I read baby beardies can be like that.
I read on here to leave some veggies in large pieces, instead of chopping it up, to entice him to play, and sure enough, the long piece of kale intrigued him.
Well, in the last 4 weeks, he went from 9 grams, to 20 grams! And he loves veggies now, especially Kale. He seemed to like strawberries too.
I thought maybe if anyone had a baby who they couldnt get to eat veggies, that tidbit would help. I also noticed he never went over to his food bowl til I put the phoenix worms in there and he saw them moving. Now he is very interested in what I put into his bowls.
One last thing....while looking at his tail tonight, it seems Kairo is not a boy.
So I need a new name
Anyway, I am really thankful for all the info on this site. Its helped a lot!
