I am missing my girl

I miss my girl. This is the first season that she is old enough to be brumating, and that is just barely old enough. It has been almost 2 months since she started. I am hoping that she doesn't stay in it for to long. How were others during your first dragons first brumation?

How old is your girl?
Brumation can be a stressful time for most of us. It greatly varies on the time, but the average tends to be anywhere from 2-4 months. Of course, there are exceptions, some go less time while others can go longer.
Since it's her first one, has she been in & out much?

We do not know her exact age. But according to where we got her she would have turned 1 year old around November or December. She sleeps pretty much the entire time. She does wake up when I take her out to give her a bath. The amount of time she stays awake afterwards ranges between 30 minutes up to two days.

My wife is wondering how long is to long for her to bromate though.

Well, they can brumate for several months, so she still may want to sleep awhile longer. It is perfectly natural & healthy as long as you are not seeing any health issues such as black bearding or weight loss while brumating.
Are her colors looking good?

Her coloring looks good. I did notice at the beginning the top of her head would be turning black when I would get her out. Then it would be gone by the time her bath was over. She really hasnt had that black coloring lately though.
