I am getting email notices when *I* post now. How do I turn

Strange, I just updated to the latest version of IE but it seems odd that would have anything to do with it.

Until then I only rec'd a notice in my email when someone else had posted in a thread I was commenting in or a thread I started.

I would like to stop getting the notices for *my* postings, can that be done? I have looked through my email msgs and through my user control panel but maybe I am missing something. lol

User Control Panel > Board Preferences > Edit Posting Defaults > Click "Notify me upon replies by default:" to No :wink:

I dont think you will get email notifications for threads you post in if you do it that way :S

Strange how it all of a sudden adjusted itself after upgrading the browser. But glad to have it changed.

I am going very soon going over to the thread of Kazi, Phoebe and Huff and see how they are doing

That's really odd. I don't know if I've ever noticed that happening to me before. There has been no changes to the forum software (no updates or config changes) in quite some time. So, if this has just started happening, I'm uncertain as to why. I didn't even think that the forums supported doing that. If it's happening, it's certainly a bug. I know that there's one update I still need to apply to the forum software, but I need to prepare for that update, and who knows if this issue is even addressed.

Are you able to consistently reproduce it? For this topic, I subscribed first, and now I'm posting (just to see if it happens to me).

It's not happening now. Might have felt like there were alerts when I posted if there were other postings that came in at close to the same time. Thanks!
