Aw good luck! It really is a great experience :)

We're now at 13/15! Yesterday was #12's first day out of the incubator, and #13 is still in there. He scared me so bad though! I opened the container this morning to see if he has come out of his egg yet (just his head was out yesterday), and he was upside down laying in the most awkward position and looked all deformed  I guess I freaked out a little because I did not want a dead beardie!!!!!! But my bf just flipped him over and he looks fine :) But we left him in there for now.

They are growing too quickly!! :( lol Look how much they've grown in less than a week! (the smaller guy hatched later and was put in the tank yesterday, the bigger guy has been in since the 4th/5th)

haha yeah! Okay I'll start with the newest guy (#13) then since today is day 1 out of the incubator! So he hasn't eaten anything yet either. Oh and the little guy in the picture (#12) has already started eating and today is day 2 out of the incubator for him! So proud of my lil guys :D

Hmm, maybe take the pictures next to a ruler or something else that doesn't change for size comparisons? They are so so cute, and sound so healthy! How do you keep all the babies that have hatched? It seems like most people keep them together but is there an age or size when you have to sepetate them? Or are they fine together as long as they've grown up together? Haha, so many questions- sorry!

Day 1 for #13! I can't keep calling him/her that...name suggestions?

Right now I have 6 in one 20g tank, and 7 in the other but this is getting too crowded for my liking...lol My bf is currently working on a custom enclosure which should be done tonight (I'll post pics in "Enclosures" when it's done!) which is basically 4 4x2x2's on top of each other if that makes sense :p So one will be for my male Yogi, one for my female Daisy then we'll put the babies in one but with two different basking spots until we get another light fixture and reptisun 10.0 for the 4th enclosure so we can split them up. I hope they won't be TOO big for the babies...

As far as I know they are fine to live together until you notice any aggression (mine are all so nice so far :) ) or if any become a lot bigger/smaller than the rest it's good to separate them. As for age/size, I'd say definitely before 5/6 months or whenever they hit puberty, but I'd say you probably don't want more than 4 to a tank after a month, since they grow so fast as we can see :p. This is my first time though and I plan on selling most in about a month, so I'm not totally sure, maybe a more experienced breeder could give their input? lol

Alright so #13 is really trying to give me a heart attack now....he is always in the strangest places. Well I forgot to take a pic of #13 (need a name!!) until about 20 mins ago so I decided to go find him even though they are all sleeping lol I figured he'd stay still easier anyways :p So I spent a good 10 minutes probably searching the enclosure everywhere (so I thought), then as I was about to close it I see this little monkey....(The photos won't rotate, sorry! Tilt your head to the left :p)

Here's their enclosure ATM for some context:

He was dead asleep too!! I took him down though just in case...
We're going to have to figure out what to do about these little monkeys...we didn't realize they could climb walls!!!!! lol

Maybe I'll just call him Monkey for now, since we found him in the incubator with his arms and legs everywhere, and now he's climbing/sleeping all over the place!!! lol

Holy! She's massive :) How long did it take for her to get that size?
I actually just got a 7 month old male tonight and he seems realllly small...about 9 inches. There's a link to some pics in my signature :)

So I now have a beardie family of 17

Your babies are wonderful. You said you're going to sell them? What age do you sell beardies at? I'm glad you're separating them by size, as it's a good thing to have the smaller ones together & the bigger ones together. 4 mo old is a good age to separate them, of course depending on how aggresive they get. And that little monkey? That's a great name for him, imagine scaring you like that. Beardies can climb just about anything. My first beardie got out on our "beardie proofed" balcony & climbed the stucco wall. she was disappearing around the corner when I found her  I think I started growing gray hairs that day. I'd been looking all over for her, had no idea she'd gotten up the wall, so yes, if they can get their nails in something, they will climb, especially when they're little. Mind you Sweetie was over a year old at the time, but still, she did climb the stucco wall. Who knew?

Please keep taking pictures of your darlings, I know I can't get enough of baby pics & watching them grow, I really envy you. I wanted to breed, but never had the $ or space. You've done a great job, as I can see by the pic of the smallest & the biggest. Wow, they are really growing so fast! :love5: :love5:

I'd really like to keep them until they're at LEAST 6 inches long (largest now is 5 inches) and are eating really well (check. lol) and have had their first shed. Although I'd prefer to just keep them all:p
Wow that would have been soo scary! Thank goodness you got her!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
