Hyper little Roscoe!!

So Ive had Roscoe almost two months now and have been handleing him daily. Recently he is so hyper and will not stay still while in my hands? He will scurry up my arm, leep onto the couch or recliner and BAM, off to the races..... Is this normal? Little dude is quick and bolts across the room making it tuff to catch, lol..... Any suggestions are welcome

yep, its normal. He will settle down as he gets older, in the mean time I suggest dragon proofing a room and letting him run.

Nothing shiny and small for him to choke on. Make sure there's nothing high up he can jump on that will fall on him. Use a towel or something so he can't escape under the door.

i feel lucky then my guy is as calm as he is then. he's coming up on 3.5-4 months old and he never really just takes off, and when i do let him run around he doesn't just run around like a chicken without its head, he seem's to calculate/think out his every move. he will take a couple steps, look around, stare at where he wants to go trying to figure out the best way, then attempts it. pretty entertaining to watch a lizard think. i always wonder what his voice sounds like in his head.
