hyper beardie

i am a newbie at keeping beardies as pets and only have one i'm unsure how old he is as i didn't get him as as a baby but he has recently started becoming very hyper trying 2 get to his UVB and banging off the glass which normally is a sign that he want out, then when he gets out of his tank he starts running about the house and climbing curtains. If anyone has any information of why he is doin this can they get back to me thanks.

That's just beardies for you. Some beardies are very lazy and tend to lay around and relax all day and then others are hyper active and bounce off the walls

Try giving him a period of time each day out of his tank, say around an hour or so to just run in a safe enclosed room.

he gets out of the tank whenever he wants its just when hes in his tank he tries 2 attack his uvb light

Is it a CFL uv bulb? I've had truoble with them,when they get old they can hurt thier eyes.
If it's a tube you should change it every 3 months.

its not a tube bulb but im not sure what kind of bulb it is it was 1 that the pet shop told me to use

It could be hurting your beardies eyes. Those coil bulbs aren't for all beardies, some do fine with them (like mine) and some don't. Try switching to something like this

thank you for your help i will try that style of bulb
