Hyper Active Beardie!

I have a 2 year old beardie whose name is Ernie. For about a week now he's been very active such as jumping off his perch and running around his tank, I'm worried because he usually just suns himself and sleeps the day away usually. He as been eating a lot more lately and i let him drink and run around but he keeps banging his nose against the wall. I'm worried somethings wrong with him, please help!!!!!

If he is so active to the point that he is bashing his face into things perhaps he needs a bigger enclosure. A high activity level is nothing to worry about unless it seems territorial, erratic, or if he is running around all black bearded.

Thanks so much! But I did notice that he has a black beard...I don't know if he's stressed because of the enclosure size or...... It's large a 50 gallon with 1 perch

You may want to have a fecal done. He may just be stressed however I have heard of them freaking out and running rampant due to parasites.
Also, do you have a background? He may be trying to ward off his reflection.

He might with the banging on his cage or/and scratching that means he may want out i had that with me beardie and you also need to make the cage right for him adult needs 50-60 gallon tank young ones need a 20-30 gallon tank
