Hydration

About my new beardie that I've asked things about a few times this weekend--- There's no water in the enclosure. We keep the greens on the cool side away from the lights. They're in an empty ChikFilA barbeque sauce container and we put a half teaspoon of water in it so they don't dry out through the day. They're not floating or anything. Just enough to get them completely wet. He ate some while at the store and once in the few days we've had him, but none since Friday. He's tearing up the crickets though.

While he's not eating greens, how often would you recommend putting him in a warm water sink and for how long?

I just get nervous because of what happened with the first one I had. That story is in a previous thread I've started. I seem to want to double check everything, even the seemingly ridiculous.

depending on how old the beardie is, he wont really eat greens like dat, is like normal human children, they hate veggies when they r little. as for hydration, juhs put him in a little beardie bath every 2 days for about 15 minutes at a time.

Yeah, I've read that they don't eay greens. I still offer them every day. Was just wondering cause he was eating them a lot and just stopped. Maybe he's taking a break.

Malibu loves to soak...she does amrathon baths and i have to keep warming up the water.......it is also the dailey routine...uncover her from her beardie burrito...put shade up in her window....lights on....coffee time for me ....then i get her out into the bath...she poops in there...get her out rinse...dry..then she goes to her beanbag chair in front of the slider so she can check out her terrtory and stink eye the chip munk...she has her salad while shes on the bean bag chair...then her crickets or supers(if shes not hungry she ignorsnthe fact that i exist)...if its nice out she will bask on her beanbag if not its back to viv and on her log..till about 4pm inthe winter...then she goes in her cave to sleep till its time to put or on the couch in the fluffy blaket w/ her nose stuffed in the corner.

I just found it odd that Bulmers went from attacking greens to ignoring them.

He was on Spring Mix at the pet store, and ate that every day. It had a little bit of romaine and spinach, but it was mostly red leaf lettuce, green leaf lettuce, raddichio, and about 6 or 7 others.

I gave him collard, green beans, and a bit of sweet potato, which he ate once and that's it. Today, I left green beans, a bit of sweet potato, and dandelion greens. He ate the 15-20 crickets I dumped in for him, and probably would have eaten to other 50 that are in the Cricket Keeper had I offered them.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
