Hurricane prep questions

I live in central Florida and hurricane Irma is on the way. I haven't experienced something like this with my mushu. We'll have plenty of water, just got a large shipment of crickets, and going to stock up on some greens later in the week. Any tips for making this as easy for my beardie?

Maybe keep some heat packs on hand and a tub you can transfer him to if you have to leave.

The temps should be fine in Florida but go ahead and pick up some 72hr heat packs if you want to. Stock up on food and water as mentioned just in case supplies are cut off for a while. You may want a computer battery backup for lights but that will only help in short power outages and they can go for a while without lighting if needed. A comfortable safe spot to bunker down and stay dry is good to have as well as a portable carrier in case you need to evacuate quickly. Good luck! I hope the storm stays as far away as possible.
