Hunters fecal came back positive for coccidea! Help

Need some words of wisdom please! What do I need to do? The vet says just the med ( which I will post his doseing to make sure is right) i don't trust this vet! I remember reading about them also needing the active cultures in yogurt? If do where do I get them? I need to get him better asap! He's my baby thanks Heather&Hunter

Disinfected everything only leaving in his bask for now! He's not happy :roll:

Make sure to keep everything very clean. Coccidia and the oocysts are EXTREMELY tough to kill. Only effective solutions are 180+ degree steam, boiling, baking at high temps, or amonia (10% solution for 30 minutes). Most over he counter disinfectants will be useless, including 10% bleach solutions. A quaternary ammonium compound can also be effective with a 15+ minute contact time. Roccal D is a pretty common one, as is Zoo Med Wipe Out 1 commonly sold at pet stores.

Feeding stays the same. Actually Acidophiliz makes my beardie eat more. You only need a few drops.
