Humidity problem

Hello. I just moved into the basement of my house. So of course I brought my beardie w me. I watched the humidity levels for 3 days before I moved down there. But I completely forgot about the washing and drying machine as it wasn't used those days. So today when I got home from school I immediately checked her humidity because I noticed the washing machine was on. Her humidity was at 54%. I have a dehumidifier running right next to her tank as I always have. Can I do anything else to keep the humidity down? I really don't won't her humidity up this high. Please help me out w this. I don't want to take any health risks when it comes to my dragon.

I put a sock full of rice in my masters enclosure and it dropped it about 5% to 7%. She uses it as a step or beanbag chair depending on her mood.

The rice sock is is a good idea, even so, the humidity is not high enough to be a problem in the least. Humidity gets higher than that times in their native Australia so there's no need to worry.
