Honestly I am currently at lost with the humidity levels. I have a stick on hygrometer, as well as a digital hygrometer (national geographic, from petsmart) and it varies from 43% to 52%.. average is closer to 50%. I have no freak'n idea how to lower it, I have a small dehumidifier for drawers, closets, etc in his cage, and I have a legit one for rooms that cost me a bit over 100$ that has been collecting quite a bit of water, it runs all day long.He's been wheezing, which is more of a dry wheeze, and took him to the vet, they said not a respiratory infection, but I still don't know whats causing it (it does happen more often in baths though, or when he moves a lot, sometimes at night too), which is what started with me trying to keep the levels down. My dehumidifiers haven't actually caused the humidity to go down, like 3% at max and I am seriously at a lost. I have no idea how to lower it.. I can't put the vivarium anywhere else, it's literally in the only spot it can fit. The temps and everything are fine, no water in viv either, doesn't even get fed in the viv. Maybe it's not right for me to keep him if I can't get the % down, I love him so much and he's amazing, but maybe I should give him up for adoption, even though I seriously don't want to. Please if you have any ideas let me know.
