Sooo now that it’s summer it’s been super humid and I have those little dial temp and humidity gauges inside his viv. I never use it for the temp (I have proved and a temp gun for that) but I e been using it for the humidity part of it and it’s been saying 50 percent during the day and going up to
Like 70 even 80 at night! So I make sure to take his water dish out at night n everything and I also purchased a small portable style dehumidifier and I put it right on top of his tank but it doesn’t seem to be making a difference.... at all. I only had the dehumidifier today but again no difference so far, so didn’t know if anyone had any ideas on what I should or could do to lower that level?
Also, he’s a picky eater, he has gone a couple weeks without eating before and I finally got him eating, yay! But it’s reptiworms black fly larvae that he wants to eat every single day? Is that ok for him to be eating everyday? And I don’t have to sprinkle calcium so I? I’ve only had him for a month n a half, he’s about 7 inches long and he’s in a 40 gal breeder, temps are good and he has a reptisun tube 10.0 uvb. So I feel like I’m starting to get the hang of this and he’s finally starting to do good! After going to vet twice and trying different tactics on feeding (everything you can think of actually). Just don’t want to make a mistake that will set us back again or god forbid something worse! Thank you!
