Humidity issue please help!

A week ago I moved my beardie into a 40 gallon tank. Everything's been good except the humidity. The gauge on the tank reads almost 50%, but over his basking spot I've recorded about 25%. He currently has a 100w basking lamp. The gauge that reads 50 is half way up on the warm side of the tank. He hasn't been acting any different from it... I will be getting an 18 inch UVB soon, maybe that will help? Is there any way I can fix this problem, if it's even a big deal?

I had a similar problem recently, I fixed my humidity by turning on the heater in my room to raise the temp up in the whole room a little. I'm not 100% sure it will work for your individual situation but it could be worth a shot.

Okay, the only problem is that it's almost summer so it's going to get really hot. I will give it a shot though!

Yeah almost summer here too, I have mine at 75°f in my room, I figure it won't be too bad but also when it starts getting warmer on its own it shouldn't be needed anymore. Since we use screen tops on the enclosures the humidity of the room affects the humidity in the enclosure and warmer temps lower humidity levels.
