humidity high!

I've had my beardie for about a week already, and everything has been fine for the most part.
I have her basking temps at around 102, and her cool side at about 79.
the only thing that i'm super worried/concerned about is her humidity. it's been about 50%
i have NO water in the tank, so im not exactly sure what i can do. input would be appreciated!

btw, i live in miami, FL so im not sure if that could be the reason

I live in FL as well, and humidity is definitely a concern here. Make sure there isn't anything in your house that could be contributing to the high humidity (like, a nearby bathroom or laundry room, open-top aquariums, etc.) If you've addressed all of those possibilities, then your locale might just have high humidity anyway. I purchased a dehumidier and I run it about once a week for several hours to bring down the humidity to an acceptable level (mine tends to slowly climb over 50%).

Is that humidity reading from the cool side or the hot side?

Also, are you measuring with a reliable instrument? It does make a difference.

That reading is on the cool side.

Try moving the humidity reading to the hot side and see if there is a noteable difference.
