Human heating pad or under the tank heater?

for dubias? and i need to get the cheapest one available in-store, i'm moving and i need to spare all my costs lol.
and i was thinking about just making my own lid and mounting the heating pad on there instead of having it on the floor and just setting it on low, would that be fine? thanks!

I use both types as I have 3 different bins. I like human heat pads due to the temp settings. And if you need to get it quick I would think that would be cheaper than a UTH because you will have to get it from a pet store in which are overpriced. You can sit the bin directly on your floor without a problem but if it makes you feel more safe then you can make some sort of lid for it to sit on.

I got one from a CVS. I would say any local drug store. Just make sure it doesn't have the auto shutoff.
