Hey everyone,
So, I've had Jerome for almost a year. August 18th is his first birthday. He's about 18" long, and weighs (I'll weigh him tonight!). Lately, he hasn't been coming out a lot at all. Just sitting under his cave. His beard is never black! And he isn't asleep, he just sits there though in his cave. He comes out to eat, then goes back in. Maybe basks for 5-10 minutes a day. He is super friendly still, hasn't tried to bite me when I take him out of the cave.
Basking Spot Temp: 97.5
Cool Side: 80
Food and Water: Has a full bowl of water, and gets a staple of small superworms. He has never been impacted before.
UVB: Arcadia 12% UVB +D3 Bulb, brand new
One thing I noticed was after sitting with him last night, I put him back into his tank with the lights still on and he ran right up to his basking spot! I wonder if his sleep schedule has been flipped, but it has been going on for a month or so so I'm sure he would have corrected it by then.
Another thing is some people on this forum have told me that at this age Beardies go through this stage of "puberty" almost. It's been a month so I didn't know how long it lasts.
Here are some pics I snapped last night when he was out. I got him from Phantom Dragons:

And here are the pics of my little guy, he really looks like his parents haha. Also, can someone tell me his breed? I know he's a red leatherback, but is that it?
He Basks on a piece of 12x12 slate I have raised, that way he can lay all the way out. Excuse the messy glass, I cleaned it right after.
