How well do suction cups work on slick backgrounds?

I bought a background for Grover's terrarium, but I'm not sure I want to use it for a few reasons 1) He's had enough changes and 2) I'm not sure suction cups holding up fake vegetation and his hammock will work on the surface. (I'd like to install it INSIDE.)

The surface of the background is slick, but is it sufficient to secure suctions cups?

Anyone try this?

Try getting Velcro works great for anything like that.

You'd think I'd realize Velcro would work since some of my art is based on Velcro.

If I ever put up the background, I'll check out the hooks, too.

Use the Velcro for the background too> I have a fish tank with 2 small pieces in the corner so I can swap sides effortlessly.
