How to wash my beardie better?

I've owned my beardie for about 3 1/2 years now and to keep him and his tank from stinking too bad I clean both as needed. However, since he has gotten bigger and his tail has gotten longer, sometimes he gets it in his poop before I can clean it or he'll accidentally step in it since he seems to like pooping right in front of his food bowl. Because of this, he has some dried poop stains on his tail and feet and I was hoping for him to just shed it off but since that's taking a while I was wondering if there are any beardie-safe cleaners to use while bathing him or if I just have to keep using a cloth and hope it comes off eventually? Thanks!

Hi there, gently using a toothbrush will take it off and there's usually no smell left because it gets in the crevices of the scales. A little dab of Dawn dish soap is O.K as well.

Ya, you will be amazed at what a toothbrush and water gets off these guys. We've rescued guys that have had caked on mess that came right off in 1 to 2 baths.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
