How to test UVA/UVB

Hello,

I am aware UVA/UVB bulbs eventually stop emitting the right wavelengths after around 6 months or so. However, I was wondering if there was a way to test the lights to see whether or not they are still emitting so I do not throw out a perfectly good light (as they can be pricey)

A solar meter is the best way currently. They run about $250 but you can use them to get the most out of your bulbs. Sometimes well over 6 months.

The plastic cards and various color change trinkets/cheep meters do not work.
