How to ship dubia in winter weather?

I'd like to sell off some of my dubia, but I've never shipped them in winter weather before. I assume that I need to insulate the boxes (I was thinking of doing two boxes, with styrofoam in between the two) but I'm worried about them getting enough air. Also, what kind of time frame do they need to be shipped in? I mean, can they survive a few days for standard shipping?

Any help or info would be greatly appreciated!

I recently shipped my roaches from Seattle, WA to New Hampshire and Missouri and they made it alright. I use USPS Priority mail. Typically my roaches arrive in 2 days, but the shipment to MO ended up taking 5 days because of Christmas. I put 100 mix size roaches in a tall deli cup. I puncture holes into the deli cup lid only. Then I wrap the deli cup in something warm. I've used a cardboard mesh stuff and also polyester batting and packing paper in the past. Then I wrap the deli cup plus insulation in plastic (just around the sides, not over the lid). Then I put that in a box and pack the rest of the empty space with packing paper. Finally I add a 40 hour heat pack (purchased on lllreptiles.com). The heat pack is placed directly between the deli cup and the first layer of insulation. I don't poke holes in the shipping box. I ship roaches with 8-12 baby carrots which provides both food and water during shipment.

I may end up shipping some orange head roaches. So, I'll be keeping an eye out on this thread

Edit: In my case it will likely be a few thousand roaches. Wondering what size of box to use.

Here is 100 roaches in a tall deli cup. I don't know how big orange heads are. This tall deli cup fits in a box less than 12 in on each side.
