How to put down your bearded

Not as in euthanise either. I mean, and this is likely a silly question but my beardeds allow me to pick them up at will. The thing they wiggle and squirm with is when I go to sit them down...so is there a certain way to sit them down properly?

Is it as you are lowering them?
Pepper freaks out if he is being raised or lowered to quickly and isn't supported enough. I'll hold him on two hands and lower slowly and let him hop off onto something.

Darwin freaks out if I lower him quickly too. Just move slowly and support both hands and feet. I imagine it's similar to the feeling of dropping in a rollercoaster or falling (which I hate) so I get it.

Thanks, and by god I think I got it. I sat them down without them flipping out today.

I lower them with my hand under their hips and tummy / chest if I'm seated on the lounge, I try very hard not to drop them even onto the carpet.

If beardie wants to climb down off the lounge , I slow their drop by holding their tail enough to slow them down a bit.

I do my best never to drop my beardies (and BTS) onto anything (but especially hard surfaces).
