How to properly clean large enclosures?

I know you're suppose to clean enclosure and items inside with a mixture of (1 part to 10 right?) bleach and water, and then rinse till you can't smell the bleach anymore. Well what about large enclosures? I have a 40 gallon breeder aquarium, and even though I myself can pick it up and handle it, I'm mainly afraid it's going to accidentally crack one of these times or something from the handling of cleaning it as it's still decently heavy (putting it on it's side to rinse everything out/etc). So any recommendations on how to clean larger enclosures?

its only 45-50 pounds, if you drop it from more than 3 inches it will probably crack thou. if you bump a corner into something metal it may chip it, and could or course break it if hit hard enough. but other than that glass is pretty durable. you could push a kid into a glass door and it wont break unless you hit it in the sweet spot.

i have a 30 gal long ( same floor dimensions as 40 breeder).... I clean my by either spraying the bleach solution from a bottle and wiping with a washcloth...or cotton balls with rubbing alcohol. this way I dont have to move the tank....and in either case I rinse it off with washcloth with just water and let it dry completely before putting my dragon/ ball python back into the enclosure.

i too use a spray bottle every few days, then move it outside every week or 2 to do a full clean. but as long as the bleach is watered down 90%, and you clean again with clean water till you cant smell bleach or dirtyness, then its all good.

I used a small Dolly I had to just make sure no accidents happened. Maybe even something like a computer chair could be used to help I don't know how your house is set up though. I just got creative. Mainly have carpet so I also used to just push it around. I know what ya mean I hated moving it was always afraid to hit a corner or something. I have a old dresser as his enclosure now so there no moving that anywhere lol. I just send my 3 year old inside it to clean LOL (I actually don't put down the phone I was joking)
