How to mount tiles to tank side?

I got great tiles to put on the floor of my 40 gallon breeder tank and have enough left over to make a 3 sided backsplash one tile high. I was wondering what was the best way to stick the tile against the tank sides can I use silicone in a tank with a hot basking light? What about those strong 2 sided command strips?

Any ideas?

Silicone would work yes, For sotmhing like that though you would want fast drying. I normally do not suggest this but i would go with the fast drying gorrilla glue. Unless you can put the tank on its side and let it sit overnight. Or even liquid nails would be good, that becomes rock hard.
