How to install runners for an enclosure?

Sorry I'm posting so many topics, but I really want to get all my information before I start building

Anyways, I can't find on how to correctly install runners in an enclosure on the web for the life of me.

I've read somewhere that one runner needs to be shorter than the other or something? I'm just lost as to how you install the runners and then put the glass in while the runners are inside?

Maybe someone has some pictures, or installation guides on how the heck to do this, thanks!

Not sure, they would be for sliding glass doors. I see them used on enclosures all the time

Hi,
I remembered seeing a good video of a vivarium build so I went googling. No luck on finding the one I was looking for, I did find another one that says it has an "emphasis on sliding glass doors". I haven't watched it yet, but here's the link

Edit* I watched it, it's less than stellar LOL so I'm removing the link. I'll keep looking for the one I saw a while ago

I built my own viv a few years back, for the glass runners i use no more nails, not sure what its called in the U.S? it bonds almost anything to anything, glass stone wood etc, just be sure to use enough of it and it will be fine my runners are still good years later and its a pretty large viv

In the States it is called "liquid nails" as a name brand, also I have seen the youtube videos showing people using "gorilla glue"
