how to feed is away from home?

I have been running into a problum where i cant get anyone to feed my dexter for the weekends ... has anyone made or found anything that can automaticly feed him for like 2 to 3 days while om gone. He eats crickets. and he is about 9 months old. taking him to a vet or pet store in not possable. so has anyone invented or found anything that can do this??

or what do you guys do when you have to go away?

I usually bribe my friends with beer to get them to come to my house while I am gone to feed. just leave some detailed instructions and all the feeders and supplies in an easy to find location.

Where are you located? Maybe a fellow BD.org member can watch him. Or, perhaps there's a cheap service near you. Check craigslist.

I can think of a few ways to electronically release crix on a timer but you will never know if it is working wile your gone. You cant control how manny you let out and you wont know if he is eating. The best way to do it is pay the neibor kid to feed him or have your best freind whom owes you to do it. Make sure that you call and check on him because people are forgetfull and ofcourse unknowlageable when it comes to dragons.

We have a reptile store here in towmn that will take boarders, they've whated our beardies when we wnet to a family runion last year. perhaps if you have a trustworthy vet or pet store in your area you can make an arrangment. Our charged us $2 a day
