How to feed an elderly bearded dragon?

My beardie is around thirteen now. Hes getting quite skinner in his old age, and doesn't eat too much anymore. I am wondering what I can do to get him to eat more. I've heard of people feeding baby food to their beardies.

What can I feed him to keep him healthy for his last few years? He only eats every few days lately, will I need to encourage or force feed?

Will he eat veges if you hand feed them? Sometimes they respond well to hand feeding so it's worth the effort. If he isn't having that either then baby food is a good option. I've had good luck using squash, sweet potato, and green bean varieties. Drip some on his nose and see if he'll lick it up.

Repashy grub pie is a nice to mix with baby food, or unsweetened apple sauce, baby food prune, maybe just plain. It sets up like jello, you can cut it to worm size pieces. I always have it on hand.
