How to clean filth out of glasses?

So I wear glasses because sight just doesn’t like me, and between the frames and the lenses, there’s just grime and filth from years of use.

Does anyone have any good ways to clean the filth out, without wrecking the lenses? I’ve tried running my fingernails along the edges where the two join, but I can’t seem to get the filth that is like fully stuck in there.

If I finish sound check early, I’ll post a pic of what it looks like. It’s not chaotically filthy, but it’s just annoying to like look at the dirt and sand stuck there lol.

Look into ultrasonic cleaners. Useful for a lot of things but oddly enough, just yesterday I saw a video of someone doing it to their glasses for the same exact reason you mentioned lol.

It’s been some 15.5 years since I’ve had glasses (LASIK in 2007). My method back then was a toothpick, and then rubbing alcohol to finish cleaning. Definitely annoying. Never knew about the sonic cleaners though. Cool. I’ll be needing reading glasses soon (already need them, actually), and my distance vision is probably around 20/30 to 20/40 (recently declined a bit) so I’ll likely need regular glasses again soon. If I were single and no kids, I’d get LASIK again, but the cost is a bit much for me and my family’s current financial needs.

i'm laughing so freaking hard right now! my daughter's bane in life is dirty glasses!!!! she's like her momma and has super long eyelashes. i swear she spends more time cleaning lash streaks off her glasses than she does actually wearing them. i'm surprised she hasn't rubbed through the lenses with cleaning cloths!

and i already told her no to buying this as she reads over my shoulder.

I have questions about bubbles on our bearded dragons eye.

So he’s gotten bubbles on his eye. We wiped them off and it’s only been twice in the last few weeks. Should we be concerned? No coughing or congestion. He’s very hungry and sleeps well. He’s 8-9 month range. His humidity is 30-40 day time and as high as 50-55 at night to early morning.
Should we be concerned?

Currently trying not to stress over my anemic dragon....she is being treated, but I don't agree with her treatment plan and have been seeking out a second opinion from another vet. If anyone else has dealt with anemia, please let me know how it was resolved. I am losing sleep over this
Another post lol. My beardie does not like enclosures. Her tank is the kids room and she has created a nesting/bed spot in the corner. She will cuddle with my son but she know when the lights are out and the kids go to sleep, she literally goes to her bed like she is our 3rd baby. I love her. And to think, I never wanted a beardie lol
