How to buy feeders during cold weather

I live in Missouri and its currently winter. Today's high was about 17'.
I've been having problems keeping my crickets alive. I have another post about that in the FEEDERS section named Cricket Killer

Anyways...

I would like to order some crickets and phoenix worms from offline.
Does anyone have any suggestions on a website that has high quality feeders at a reasonable price, that can ship in cold weather?

I don't want to order a whole bunch of feeders just for them to arrive dead.... I've been throwing my money away buying my crickets local since they all keep dying... I'm getting desperate.

Just last night I bought 60 medium crickets for $5.00 (not gut loaded) and this morning I have about 15-20 alive....

Have you tried bleaching then rinsing your cricket habitat really well in case something in the enclosure is killing them?

I haven't used bleach, when I clean the tank out today I will use bleach.

We successfully ship Phoenix Worms throughout the year, even when temps are below freezing or very hot. The important thing is to keep the worms inside the post office and pick them up there. We've learned that Phoenix Worms reach their destination just fine but can be stressed or killed if they have to ride for hours in a cold or hot mail truck awaiting delivery or are left outside to freeze or cook.

Please check the weather forecast for your area on the anticipated delivery day (two days from the ship day which is posted on the order page). If the high temp is going to be below 35*F. or above 85*F., just write us a note on the "special instructions" page of the order and ask us to mark the box HOLD AT POST OFFICE FOR CUSTOMER PICKUP. When the post office keeps the package inside, Phoenix Worms are in great condition 99% of the time.
