Do i feed my beardie, i try to feed him like every day multiple times, but he goes like 1-2 days without eating. then will eat like 5-10 mealworms. Then repeated, and drinks a few drinks a water every other day. Doesn't eat much veg, maybe like once a week he will tear off a piece i put in the tank. He is probably 7 inches long.

Have you tried crickets? It might be a little to early for mealworms. They have a hard exoskeleton that can't be digested.

yeh he eats them about the same.. i'll go back to crickets though.. :S their just so hard 2 keep without putting them all in the tank..

I keep mine in a tub I bought from Walmart, a carrot every couple days and this stuff called monkey food and an egg crate. Very simple setup. But you don't want to keep the crix in the same tank as your beardie. They will eat parts of him when he sleeps.

For the veggies, try ripping them into tiny pieces. Also, how far away from the uvb light is he? What kind of bulb? Temps for hot side and cool side?

i bought a bulb from the petstore it had a beardeddragon on the front i think reptisun or something and its right on the tank.. it has a wire lid and the lamp is sitting on top of it... and its a ten gallon tank tilhe gets bigger... and at night when i go to sleep i turn off the light and then when i wake up i turn it back on.. and i tear them into little peices but he goes after the big peices, when he comes around to eating veggies.
