How often should I bathe my Beardie?

I just gave him his first bath in two months because I just found out about bathing them. He did not like it, but he is still young and it was his first time. I put some warm water in the sink and stopped it up, and lets him swim, and petted him and got him nice and wet then dried him off lightly patting with a towel. No soaps.
But how often should I do this?

As much as they like. But I suggest a min of 1-2x's a week :wink:

You can also get a soft toothbrush and rub him softly with that! And I agree 1-2 times a week!!! :laughing6: :-o

Yeah every 2-3 days and at least 10-15 mins of soaking (make sure water doesn't get too cold) or so is good. Make sure the water is about the temp you would bathe a baby in. Mine is a year old and still hates his baths :lol: but they need it for the hydration and it helps with shedding. The only thing Max likes about his bathes are the baby toothbrush rubbings he gets.... pampered spoiled dragons they are lol

He likes the baby toothbrush? I'm going to buy one tonight and try it on Desmond!!! He has something in his nose that this could help as well. Would a regular "soft" toothbrush work as well or are the baby ones much softer?

Also, OP, at first, I didn't realize that by bath, they mean an inch or so of water. It's supposed to be high enough to cover his vent. You probably knew that already, but I just want to make sure!
